She's a versatile visual artist with a strong foundation in traditional and digital media. Krislynn creates murals and public art that make people slow down and pause in the moment, counteracting such a fast-paced life.
Krislynn Paisley is a 26-year-old muralist, digital illustrator, and mother of two littles. Growing up, she realized she had a talent for how she saw colors and has always had a longing to create art. Due to moving between states numerous times as a teenager and young adult, Krislynn has experienced different cultures' approaches to the arts. To date, she’s been painting for 12 years. Her first commissioned piece sold when she was only 16 years old. She started painting murals because she wanted to bring color to a world that’s turning grey. Krislynn creates family-friendly pieces that encourage reflection. Krislynn practices many styles; her usual art is energetic and fun, with the occasional contemplative piece.
She paints murals on walls, windows, propane tanks, and doors. Anything paint can stick to, she wants to paint it. She paints on canvas in her free time and works in Adobe Photoshop. With 12 years of experience across traditional and digital media, she blends her own looseness with expressionist vibrant-color techniques and graffiti-inspired linework. Her favorite acrylic works focus on engaging movement, layered detail, and heavy-bodied strokes.
After her work evolved into the digital world, her feats included:
~ illustrating children’s books
~ drawing designs for vinyl wraps
~ editing photographs
~ designing logos
~ creating flyers for events and businesses.
